Alibaba Reacts To Davido’s Claim That He Made ₦500m From His 30 Billion Concert

Veteran comedian, Alibaba has reacted to Davido’s claim that he made N500m from his 30billion concert.

According to the comedian, its just a tip.

Alibaba, via instagram, added that the entertainment sector is a gold mine that activates commercial activities in allied sectors.

He wrote;

“This afternoon, at about 1pm, I got a message on my WhatsApp asking me to confirm if Davido can actually make the kind of money he claims to have made. I thought the sender was patronizing… or as we say in Warri “e dey use style find my mouth”. But this evening, I got another chat from a Banker, who wanted to know if the kind of money he is hearing could be made from a concert. I could not ignore this one. He is the Chief Risk Officer of a top 5 bank. So, I took my time to mention how possible it is to even make more than the figure he has heard being mentioned.

A mother (not real photo) will have to pay a 10,000 euro (£9,000) fine if she posts pictures of her son on Facebook without his consent, after a court in Rome ruled in his favor. 

The 16-year-old, whose parents were getting a divorce, raised the issue during divorce proceedings involving his parents. The teenager was featured by his mother in some photos on social media and judges ruled that the boy could lawfully request the removal of all his photos posted by his mother from the social media site.

Rapper, Cardi B has achieved yet another milestone by securing four of the top 10 tracks on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, a record previously achieved by singer Beyonce.

She and Queen Bey are the only female artistes to post four songs in the top 10 at the same.

According to Billboard, Cardi B placed four songs simultaneously in the top 10 of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (dated Jan. 13) for the second week in a row.

The publication reports that Cardi’s feature on G-Eazy’s “No Limit” with ASAP Rocky currently sits at #2, her assist on Migos’ “Motorsport” also featuring Nicki Minaj comes in at #3, her debut single “Bodak Yellow” lands at #5, and her new single “Bartier Cardi” with 21 Savage is at #9.

Jubilation in Imo state as police kill most wanted robber

There was jubilation at the Imo state police command yesterday as police officers celebrated the death of a  notorious armed robber, Ihechi Nwankwo, who had been terrorizing the state for years.



According to the state police public relations officer, Andrew Enwerem, the suspect who hails from Amaumara in the Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of the state, had been on their wanted list for a long time. He was accused of masterminding a lot of armed robbery attacks in the state.

In an interview with Southern City News, Enwerem said the slain suspect was involved in robbing a bank customer of N8m at Access Bank at Ahiara Junction on August 8th. He also robbed one Jovita Enwerem of N650,000 at gunpoint at Ahiara Junction on June 21st. In May, Ihechi also attacked and disposed a Chinese expatriate of N10 million in Owerri and killed the expatriate's security officer. On how Ihechi was killed, Enwerem said
