Previously we reported that Schweinsteiger would not leave Old Trafford beyond the end of the summer transfer window. However Bild’s sources states that the playmaker is not in Mourinho’s first-team plans and the club now want his £190,000-a-week salary off the wage bill.
It should be noted that Schweinsteiger has two years left to run on his current contract.The 32-year-old has been excluded from main stream of the Red Devils. Schweinsteiger has gone down beyond the pecking order and with the signing of Paul Pogba for a world record £89million and Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Dortmund the midfielder has been regarded as surplus to requirement. According to the rumours, the former Germany international could move to Juventus.
