Zlatan Ibrahimovic continued his impressive run of form for the Red Devils as he got both goals in each half of the match.
United went ahead through a sublime header from the Swedish striker in the 36th from a Wayne Rooney’s and got the second from the spot after Luke Shaw tripped Clasie in the 52nd minute. It ended 2-0.
Pogba was in ecstatic form as he completed five take-ons in the first half alone more than any other player on the field which sent the fans at the Theatre of Dreams wild.
The ‘Special One’ will be satisfied with the result and the teams’ performance so far as United’s season starts on a promising note. It is now two wins out of two for Mourinho’s men as they send warning signals to other teams about their title credentials this season.
