Jurgen Klopp picks Manchester City star David Silva as his favourite Premier League player from the opposing teams

The Liverpool manager says he doesn’t know if Silva is dangerous, but he’s a wonderful player

The Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has named Manchester City star David Silva as his favourite player in the Premier League.

Klopp made this disclosure after being asked about the opposing player he rates the highest on Sky Sports Monday Night Football, yesterday, September 26.

He said: “I like David Silva – I don’t know if he’s dangerous, but he’s a wonderful player. He’s everywhere and so skilled and he has such a good attitude.

“Even now I don’t hear his name too often after the wonderful start by Man City and I’m pretty sure he has his role and I like his style of play.”

Klopp then went onto admit he was only bothered about his own players and insisted anyone can cause problems on their day.

He said: “There are a few good players around but I’m actually not that interested in the players of other teams so they are all dangerous when you let them be dangerous.”

Klopp has masterminded a fine start to the season for Liverpool, with four wins and a draw from their opening six games including impressive wins over Arsenal and Chelsea, both wins coming away from home

The likes of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and summer signing Sadio Mane have also drawn plaudits from their manager.
