UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE:Ronaldo efforts not enough to see off Dortmund

Match day two of the Champions League played out 

– Andre Schurrle scored late as Dortmund drew with Madrid 

– Juventus were big winners scoring four against Dinamo 

Dortmund scored very late in the game to deny Real Madrid as Leicester City won their second Champions League game thanks to Slimani’s lone goal against Porto at the King Power stadium.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in a 2 – 2 game between Real Madrid and Dortmund at the Signal Iduna park but the Spanish team were pegged back when Pierre Aubameyang capitalized on Keylor Navas’s error to earn a firts half draw.

In the second half, Ronaldo created the second goal for Raphael Varane but the Champions League holders were once again pegged back when Andre Schurlle volleyed home a late game.

In other matches, Leicester City won their second ever Champions League against Porto with Slimani scoring the only goal of the game.

Juventus were big winners as their two main strikers Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala got on the score sheet against Dinamo Zagreb with Miralem Pjanic and a Semper own goal the other additions.

Tottenham defeated CSKA Moscow away from home with Heung Son Min getting the only goal of the game while Kamil Glik scored very late to rescue a draw against Bayern Leverkusen who had opened the scoring through Javier Hernandez.
